About St. James

St. James is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and is located one block off the square in historic Gettysburg, PA.  We are a diverse community of families and singles, older adults and children, and everyone in-between!  On a given weekend, about 400 people come together for worship at one of our four vibrant worship services.

The greater community of Gettysburg knows us especially for our music, our youth programs, and our outreach.  We invite you to come and see!

Service Times:

Saturdays, 5:30 p.m.
A quiet service of Word and the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

Sundays, 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Services celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion. The Sunday 8:15 a.m. worship service is livestreamed each week, and can be viewed on our YouTube channel.

St. James holds Sunday School for all ages in the time between Sunday worship services (9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.).
